3 Days from Marrakech to Chegaga desert, this tour allows you to discover the mountains of the high atlas, the kasbah of Ait ben Haddou, the valley of the Draa, the desert of Mhamid and the dunes of Erg Chegaga, where you will spend an excellent night at the Saharian camp. Furthermore,  you will experience wonderful camel rides in the dunes. You will certainly admire the sunset and the sunrise in the dunes.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Marrakech – Zagora – Mhamid

Departure from your accommodation in Marrakech to the Mhamid desert. Cross the High Atlas mountains known by these beautiful Berber villages. We stop at Telouat to visit the kasbah of Glaoui then we continue to the kasbah of Ait ben Haddou, from there to Agdez, where we stop to visit the kasbah of Tamnougalt, then our “3 Days from Marrakech to Chegaga desert” continues towards the palm grove of Zagora and the Quranic library of Tamgroute. Later continue towards Mhamid, which is the last village before the sand dunes. We will spend the night in a beautiful camp in the desert of Mhamid. Dinner and overnight in the camp.

Day 2: Mhamid – Chegaga

After breakfast, we will leave by  4×4 vihicles to  explore the dunes of Chegaga, there you  discover the charm Erg Chegaga dunes, and enjoy a camel ride in the dunes, while you enjoy  the sunset in the Sahara,  a nice dinner around campfire, and a deep sleep in tents in the camp.

Day 3: Chegaga – Marrakech

After having breakfast, we will return to Marrakech passing by the Iriki lake and the village of Foum Zguide. We will stop at the village of Taznakht exploring traditional Berber carpets,  then we continue our way back to marrakech hitting the road via ouarzazate and later across the high Atlas mountains.
