4 Days from Marrakech to Merzouga is a magnificent tour departing from Marrakech that will lead you to discover the dunes of Merzouga, spend two nights in the sahara camp, also enjoy a camel ride and sleep in nomadic tents. Your return to Marrakech will be alongside the Draa Valley.
► Itinerary:
Day 1: Marrakech – Dades gorges
Departure from your accommodation in Marrakech to the Dades gorges, passing through the high Atlas mountains and the kasbah of Ait ben Haddou, where you will have a guided tour, from there we continue to the Dades gorges, with a series of photo stops in Skoura and along the valleys of roses.
You will have the choice to either follow the Dades valley to the gorges or spend the night in a local hotel with dinner.
Day 2: Dades gorges – Merzouga
We will leave the Dades gorges towards those of Todra, and after lunch we will go to Merzouga, hanging out in Erfoud, having a coffee break, then we continue towards the dunes of Merzouga. Your camel guide will take you on camel back toward your camp in the middle of the dunes, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Merzouga
After your breakfast in the camp, the camel guide will take you to the village, and by a 4×4 comfortable car, you will explore the desert landscapes while enjoying a visit to the nomads who live in tents. Then we will visit the Khamliya village, known by Gnawa musicians. We then return to the camel-back camp. You will spend the night in the Sahara camp with dinner and a lively evening in berbebre music.
Day 4: Merzouga – Draa vallee – Marrakech
After your breakfast, we will return to Marrakech. On your road, you will be passing by Alnif and the palm grove of Tazaarine. We will have lunch in Nkob. In the afternoon, we will cross the valley of Draa and stop in Agdz to visit the kasbah of Tamnougalt, then we continue to Ouarzaate to see the kasbah of Taourirt. Later we will proceed to Marrakech across the High Atlas mountains.
