Itinerary:
Day 1: Marrakech – Zagora Camp
Departure from your accommodation in Marrakech all the way toward Ouarzazate where you will visit the famous kasbah of Ait ben Haddou as well as that of Taourirte, then we will continue to Agdz where you can see and explore the kasbah of Tamnougalt. Later on, we will continue to Zagora to spend the night in a camp in Erg Lihoudi.
Day 2: Zagora – Merzouga
After having a delicious breakfast in the camp, we continue across the desert tray to the Merzouga desert, we will stop to take beautiful photos, then we continue via Tazarine, Alnif, Rissani to Merzouga, where your camel driver will guide you by camel to the camp where you spend the night in the camp. You will spend an excellent evening in an environment of joy and peace.
Day 3: Merzouga
After the magical sunrise and the breakfast, we will explore the dunes of Erg Chebbi by camel, then we travel together by a 4×4 to discover the desert landscapes of Merzouga, visiting the nomads in their tents, then we will return for lunch in having fun with Gnawa musicians, in Khamliya. We will return to spend a second night in the camp at Erg Chebbi.
Day 4: Merzouga – Fes
We will leave Merzouga towards the city of Fes; we will pass to Erfoud and the city of Errachidia, then we cross the Ziz valley. Afterwards, we will stop to see the monkeys in the cedar forest in Azrou, then we will continue to Fes. Dinner and overnight will be in a beautiful Riad.
Day 5: Fes – Chefchaouen
After breakfast, you will enjoy a half-day visit of the city of Fes with a local guide, then we continue to Chefchaouen, via the mountain of Rif, dinner and overnight in a beautiful Riad.
Day 6: Chefchaouen – Tangier
After breakfast, you will discover the medina of Chefchaouen with a local guide, then we will cross the Motagne de Rif and the city of Tetouan to arrive in Tangier, dinner and overnight in a beautiful hotel.
Day 7: Tangier – Rabat – Casablanca
You will discover the medina of Tangier. Later, you will go to Rabat, where you can visit the Hassan tower and the Oudayas kasbah. From there we continue to Casablanca, where you will spend the night in a beautiful hotel.
Day 8: Casablanca – Essaouira
We will be exploring the mosque of Hassan II after having breakfast, then we continue to Essaouira with pjoto stops at El jadida and Safi. Dinner and overnight is in a beautiful hotel in Essaouira.
Day 9: Essaouira – Marrakech
After your breakfast, you will visit the medina of Essaouira with a local guide, then we leave for Marrakech, we will drop you off at your accommodation in Marrakech. So, i hope you will enjoy this 9 days from Marrakech to desert tour with us.
