Cooking class experince offers an immersive experience into Moroccan culture, teaching both traditional cooking methods and providing insight into local life. You will start your day with pick-up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech, then head to a traditional cooking place, like a riad or a farm outside the city. You will visit a local market to shop for fresh ingredients, here you will learn about a variety of spices, fresh herbs, vegetables, and meat commonly used in Moroccan cooking. Engage with local vendors and experience the vibrant atmosphere of a traditional Moroccan souk. After tha, drive back to the kitchen, where you will be welcomed with Moroccan tea and pastries.

Your guide will assist you by giving insight and what dishes you will prepare. Simply, Moroccan dishes include Tagine, Couscous, Harira or Pastilla. Start the cooking under the guidance of a professional chef, you’ll learn traditional techniques, and how learn to prepare each dish step by step. While the food is cooking, take a break to relax and enjoy a chat with fellow participants about Moroccan cuisine. Once everything is ready, you will taste the tagine or couscous you cooked, along with other side dishes, all served with local bread. Your experience will conclude with a certificate of participation. As you will receive a booklet of the recipes you learned, allowing you to recreate the dishes at home. Then, your driver will take you back to your hotel or riad in Marrakech.
